Angina – What can you do!
If you are unfortunate enough to suffer an attack, here are some tips on what you can try to do: If an attack occurs while being active, sit down and rest, if laying down, change your position by sitting or standing up to relieve pressure on nerves of the heart which cause the pain – importantly if an attack occurs during rest it could mean you’re are more likely to suffer a heart attack; it is vital you contact your doctor as soon as possible
Take up a stress relieving/controlling activity such as Yoga, Tia Chi, Meditation, breathing techniques to learn how to calm your body quickly
Garlic, 1 clove a day eaten raw is best, alternatively garlic capsules with 4000mcg of Allioin, take 400mg to 600mg a day
Folic Acid 400mg and Vitamin B 12 0.5mg a day
Omega – 3 Fatty Acids 3000mg or more a day
