Remedial Body Massage uses a combination of techniques from various massage styles both ancient and modern. The surface muscle tissue is massaged to warm and soften the tissue in preparation for deeper treatment; the deep muscle tissue is then manipulated to help release mucus, tension, knots, stiffness and pain in the muscles and joints; allowing greater flow of body fluids that take vital nutrition to cells and remove cellular waste and naturally detoxifies the body. Energy flow is increased, as is the metabolic rate. In freeing up movement, the body feels lighter and more agile, helping to regain strength and to regain or maintain its health and wellbeing.
